Fondée à Vancouver en 2007 par Maggie Winston, la compagnie Lost & Found Puppet Co. est basée à Montréal depuis janvier 2016. Elle a participé à divers festivals tels que OUF! Festival Off Casteliers (Montréal), Vancouver Fringe Festival, Out The Box Puppetry Festival (Le Cap, Afrique du Sud). Lost & Found Puppet Co. explore la relation entre les humains, les objets, les plantes et les animaux.



Lost & Found Puppet Co. originally created in 2007, now splits time between Montreal, QC and Vancouver, BC. Members of the company consist of Maggie Winston and any person interested in joining the company for any given project. Interdisciplinary collaboration and community activism are at the heart of the work. L&FP Co. is dedicated to the promotion of puppetry as a unique and valued art everyone can experience.

Lost & Found Puppet Co. has toured throughout BC and internationally. Productions explore human relationships to objects and nature such as stories about lost socks, giant junk monsters, larger-than-life invasive plant species, beaver dreams, or grandma’s memories in her recycled quilt.

Maggie Winston is a puppeteer and community engaged artist who facilitates transformative creative processes with an emphasis on inclusion and imagination. BA in Performance/Puppetry, Sarah Lawrence College, (USA), trained at British American Drama Academy (UK). Recipient of Vancouver Mayor’s Arts Award- Emerging Artist in Community Arts (2010). Using puppetry, an interdisciplinary art form, communities create original performances that reflect salient topics. She has been an artist in residence through programs with ArtStarts BC, Vancouver Biennale, Vancouver School Board, Vancouver Parks & Recreation, and Instruments of Change. She is the artist facilitator for the Arts, Health, and Seniors Program with Chinese Seniors at Strathcona Community Centre.
